We believe that all young people should have the right to free and confidential sexual health and contraception services in a space where they feel safe and comfortable.
We have been working with Barts Health NHS Trust for over 17 years to ensure that high quality professional services are available for young people at Step Forward. Due to recent changes in Public Health funding the sexual health and contraception services available here have changed and we no longer have our Forward Thinking Monday or Wednesday clinics.
New Clinic
We are pleased to announce that we now have a new All East sexual health, contraception and advice clinic with Barts Health every Thursday between 3-6.30pm. To make it easier to access you can now book a time to see a nurse from 8am the Wednesday before a clinic via Barts Health website here. There will also be a limited number of walk-in slots available on the day.
If you want to see someone urgently as you are concerned about sexual health or contraception on other days you can look at the online booking and it will show you the alternative clinics across East London suitable for you.
Continued Services
Having sexual health services available for young people at Step Forward is really important to us. So as well as our weekly All East Clinic we still have a monthly LGBTQ friendly STI Testing drop-in with our partners from Positive East between 4-7pm on the last Tuesday of a month.
If you’re under 25 years old, free condoms and STI testing kits are available all week from our reception.
If you want to speak to someone or have any problems using the online booking then get in touch and one of our friendly team will be happy to help.
