Following the successful October half-term programme, we are pleased to let you know that we have a brand new Positive Activities for Young People Programme from 18th – 22nd February!
In October, the young people who attended PAYP had lots of fun whilst learning new skills. They shared some things about themselves through arts and crafts, they took part in fascinating discussions such as body image, self-esteem and healthy relationships. The week was a great mixture of talking, taking part in activities and being creative. We rounded the week off with a trip chosen by the group to Genesis Cinema
One of the young people who participate in the activity programme said:
“Thanks for a great week. Most fun I’ve had in years. Please let me know of any activities available. I can’t wait for the next one. Nice to have met you all. Thank you for everything.”
So, now, here we are, ready for a new and exciting PAYP! With more fun and games, including role plays, talking about relationships, tie dye (following a request from our young people), self-defence workshop, healthy cooking (always a popular one, for staff too!), and, to finish off a great week on an exciting note, an outing on Friday afternoon chosen by you!
So if you are a young person or know a young person who would like to take part then contact Solyma and Silva for more details. They can tell you more about the programme and can arrange for you to come in and meet with us.
We look forward to hearing from you soon!
