The Young Mayor of Tower Hamlets will be the person that you elect and who represents young people’s views across the borough. They will listen to what you and other young people think are important issues and make sure that politicians and other decision makers hear what young people have to say.
In Tower Hamlets we have 17 great candidates for you to choose from. They each have their own manifestos which highlight some issues effecting local young people that they want to influence or change if you elect them as Youth Mayor. You can check out all of the 17 candidates here.
You can vote in the election for the Young Mayor here at Step Forward or at any of the borough’s ideas stores until the 25th January. Secondary schools and colleges in Tower Hamlets will be hosting official polling stations for their students on 30th January.
So if you want to make a difference to the lives of all young people in Tower Hamlets then take the opportunity to vote on the candidate you would like to be Young Mayor.
